The ceremony took place on 27th November 2014 at the Institute’s offices.
The Council has eleven members, all of them industry professionals. They include filmmakers, film producers, representatives of the motion picture trades unions, cinemas, distributors, broadcasters and both cable television and digital platform operators.
The members are nominated by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and serve for three years. The Council sets the course for the Institute’s operations and provides opinions on its annual activities and reports, including its financial reporting.
